Once you’ve downloaded the compressed folder or “ZIP file” you must extract or “un-ZIP” the file before you can access the contents.
How to Un-Zip on a PC
- Find the compressed file you’ve downloaded onto your computer and Right-Click on the folder to bring up the folder menu.
- Choose “Extract All” to uncompress the folder.
- A window will appear confirming your extracting process. Click “Extract.”
- Extracting the contents may take a little while. Once complete, the materials will appear in the same folder as your original Zipped file. (i.e. if your Zip file is on your desktop, then your materials will appear there)
How to Un-Zip on a MAC
- Find the compressed file you’ve downloaded onto your computer and double click on the file.
- Extracting the contents may take a little while. A new file will appear with the extracted materials inside.
